This year June 23-24 2012 is Field Day Weekend. The object of this weekend it to start with nothing and build a working radio station, working as many other stations on as many bands, as support is availible. This would simulate a disaster that removes current radio installations from working. Mark your calendar now for that nice, warm, dry, bright, bug-free and lots of food weekend. Did I forget about operating…Volunteer to be a station captain. AA4R is a co-chair but also the 40/15 band captain. He coordinates the roofing, rig, ant, and operators for those bands.
