Hello All. Wow 1st of May and Shower are here. Nice soak-er rain today. Welcome back Tom nice to have you at the Breakfast this past Saturday. Tom spoke on several things one being Field Day this year. He reminded everyone present that were doing it again this year from the benzoina park. He ask for volenteer’s for the event. He also mentioned the importance to be ARES/RACES certified for any real emergencies and it can be done online anytime night or day. I like many others in the area were putting up the antennas from the snow storm March 3. George KG8ZA tribander survived ! a testament to HY-GAIN 7 ele. Speaking of George he’s back up on VHF with PL. so we expect to hear him on the nets.
Ham-fest in Cadillac This Saturday, May 5 there checking QSL cards so take your 50, 1 from each state and 100 from different countries and put some nice WAS and DXCC paper on your wall. Maybe even some new / used equipment in your shack.
